The dangers of "flea market" contacts are REAL!

Contact lenses are a medical device and you shouldn't throw caution to the wind when it comes to cosmetic lenses.  These "flea market" lenses are not regulated, sanitary, or safe.   They are sold illegally, with no regard for the consumer's eye health.  Contact lenses should be controlled by the same laws as prescriptions and if not done so, put a person at risk for serious infections, even blindness.  Please read the following article that gives a perfect example of such dangers.
